A Message for Our Times
Dear friends,
Each week seems to bring new waves of intensity on our planet — storms, conflict, uncertainty, and transformation. Yet beneath these outer changes lies a deeper movement, one calling humanity to awaken, to remember, and to rise in consciousness.
In recent days, Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica with devastating force, leaving many without homes or power. Across Europe and Ukraine, leaders gather once again to discuss the possibility of peace. And in the Caribbean, U.S. military presence expands, stirring both concern and vigilance.
It can be easy to feel small in the face of global events. But the yogic path reminds us that even the smallest vibration of love and awareness contributes to the whole.
Holding the World in Light
Each of these events mirrors the same eternal dance: destruction and renewal, darkness and dawn. Consciously staying in the light means to choose love over fear, inner peace over external chaos.
Nature reminds us that chaos can be creative — that even after the fiercest storm, the earth breathes anew. And through conflict, humanity is asked to rediscover compassion, humility, and unity.
Rather than turning away from suffering, we can learn to hold it tenderly — with open hearts and steady awareness that everything in creation has a cycle of birth, life, and death. For within the movement of every tragedy and triumph alike is the pulse of the Divine, guiding creation toward balance and awakening.
A Practice for This Week
Each morning, before you begin your day, pause for a few conscious breaths.
Visualize the Earth floating in space — radiant, whole, and alive. See it surrounded by soft golden light, the light of peace and divine remembrance.
Whisper inwardly:
“May all beings find peace. May love guide us home.”
Let that light begin within you — then extend it to the people of Jamaica, to those seeking peace in Ukraine, to all who are facing loss, fear, or change.
Every heartbeat of love adds to the world’s healing.
Closing Reflection
Even in times of upheaval, the invitation is the same: to remember who we are — divine consciousness expressing through human experience.
From this remembrance, our actions naturally become offerings of compassion, courage, and clarity. And as each of us awakens, the world awakens with us.
With love and light,
Jenny
